Q: Who is this level for?

Foundational confirms literacy — that you understand the key concepts, terms, and principles. It's the right starting point if you're early in your career, moving into the field, or want to prove you know the fundamentals before specializing.

Q: Is a subscription required?

No. You can purchase and take the exam without a Uxcel subscription. Active Uxcel Pro and Teams members receive a 30% discount automatically at checkout.

Q: What score do I need to pass?

You need 70% to pass. The same passing score applies across every Uxcel Certified exam.

Q: What happens if I don't pass?

Each purchase includes one attempt. If you don't pass, you can retake the exam right away — there's no waiting period — for 50% of the exam price.

Q: How long is my certification valid, and how do I renew?

Your certification is valid for 3 years from the date you earn it. We'll remind you 90 days before it expires. To renew, simply retake the exam for 50% of its price.
